In case you are wondering, the Packers have not changed the venue of their NFC playoff game this weekend, but we are suggesting that you can enjoy a wonderful weekend in Door County AND the Packer game in the comfort of an astonishingly comfortable Door County suite at an amazing winter rates price.
Leading up to Sunday’s game here are a few suggestions as to how to spend your weekend on the Door peninsula.
At the Door Community Auditorium:
Saturday, January 14, Tickets: $14 General Admission – Time: 7:00pm
Coffeehouse Concert on The Main Stage: Highland Road
Fish Creek’s own bluegrass band, Highland Road grew out of the “back porch picking” of founders Andy Coulson and Tad Gilster. Along with bandmates, Rick Gordon and Tony Gebauer, Highland Road’s sound includes traditional and contemporary bluegrass, a bit of country and a smattering of folk and popular music played bluegrass style.
At Third Avenue Playhouse:
Saturday, January 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 15 at 1 p.m.

Get roped into Kevin McKillip’s “Will Rogers: An American Original” on stage at Third Avenue Playhouse Saturday, January 14 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, January 15 at 1 p.m. Will Rogers fashioned the American stand-up comic – Jay Leno, Jon Stewart and David Letterman all emerge from his shadow. Rogers died in plane crash in 1935 at the height of his career. Rogers had a daily syndicated column that ran in 400 newspapers, a national radio show and was the number one male box office draw for three years in a row. Not bad for a humble cowboy from Oklahoma.
So consider yourself invited to the Door peninsula this weekend, by the innkeepers of Door County Inns and Resorts. All our member properties offer exceptional suites with full kitchens, indoor pools, fireplaces and more. Excellent winter rates are available for your Door County getaway!
