Door County Art Gallery Fall Round-up

Door County has a plethora of fabulous art galleries for all tastes and price ranges. Here are some shows you can catch before the end of the 2010 fall season.

Sturgeon Bay
Miller Art Museum presents “Sturgeon Bay: past & Present”
On display through November 9. 36 artists and their interpretations of the city of Sturgeon Bay.

Fish Creek
Peninsula School of Art presents “Iron Pour”
Saturday, October 2. Learn the ancient art of casting iron with sculptor Teresa Lind and her crew.

Baileys Harbor
Espresso Lane Coffee Shop presents “The Photography of Suzi Hass”
Also on display the artwork of Patrice Procopio, Steve Halmo, Sharon White and Myrna Cohn.

Jacksonport
Jacksonport Craft Cottage presents “Miniature Quilts”
Miniature quilts, all hand crafted by Mitch and Mary Miller of Millersburg, Ohio.

Ephraim
Fine Line Designs Gallery
presents “The Annual Townline Art Fair”
Saturday, October 9 (10 am-5 pm) & Sunday October 10 (10 am – 4 pm)
A juried art fair exhibiting the work of more than 85 professional artists from across the Midwest exhibit during the two-day show held rain or shine. Glass, pottery, metal sculpture, paintings, photography, fiber art, and woodworking will be under tents for the 5,000 people that annually attend the show.

Egg Harbor
Woodwalk Gallery presents “Within the Surface”
On display through mid-October. Featuring the artwork of Nan Helscher, Simon Levin and Tom Sargeant.

Sister Bay
Frykman Studio Gallery presents “The Photography of Heather & Lucas Frykman”

Open year round. Also featuring the woodcarving of nationally known artist David Frykman.
